We Encourage You to Trust Christ with Your Life and Eternity
Placing your trust in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior is the most important decision you can ever make. If you have never done this, please allow us to share Christ with you. We are here to help you.
So...How can I know God?
The gospel is the most important information a church can teach. The gospel or "good news" is about how we can relate to God. It answers the deepest questions about human beings: why we are here, and what God requires of us. The gospel shows us our need of Jesus Christ. The Gospel (Good News)
God has prepared a way for us to go to heaven. There are basically four things you need to know from the Bible to have assurance that you are going to Heaven when you die.
1. Everyone is a sinner.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
We come short of God's glory because God is righteous, and we have all sinned. Sin is anything we do wrong. All have sinned includes me, and it includes you. First of all, you must agree that the Bible is true and admit that you are a sinner.
2. Everyone owes a sin-debt.
Romans 6:23a For the wages of sin is death;..."
Because of our sin we must pay the penalty which is death in hell.
Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Secondly, you must realize that your sin requires you to pay the debt and spend an eternity in Hell.
3. Everyone's sin-debt has been paid.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Although sin requires eternal death, God wants to give us eternal life. I am glad that this verse did not end with eternal death but with eternal life. Eternal life does not come from going to church or anything good that you do. Eternal life comes "through Jesus Christ."
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Thirdly, you must believe that Jesus Christ paid the debt of sin in your life by dying on the cross, and eternal life is through Jesus Christ only.
4. Everyone can be saved.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Jesus died for everyone, though not all will go to heaven. You must personally receive Jesus Christ into your heart.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
You do not have to be perfect to come to Jesus. All you have to do is come to Him.
If you would life to trust Jesus Christ as your Savior, simply bow your head right now and humbly:
1. Admit to God that you are a sinner.
2. Tell Him you believe Jesus died for you.
3. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins and save your soul.
4. Believe that he promised to save you.
