What should I expect when I visit?

What can you expect when you visit a Second Baptist Church service? During our morning worship service, our congregation is led in singing hymns that encourage our spirit and prepare our hearts. In addition to our congregational singing, we have a choir special as well as some other special music. The primary element of our worship services involves a carefully prepared sermon by our pastor James King. Pastor King's sermons are intended to encourage everyone in their walk with God and give special attention to the power of God for victorious, holy, Christian living.

Special Services 

Monthly Back to Back Services
We enjoy a time of fellowship over a meal the last Sunday of each month. Our members bring a covered dish or crockpot meal and we all each lunch in our Fellowship Hall after our Morning Worship Service (about Noon), then our Evening Service is moved up to an Afternoon Service for that day.
